PARIS (8) - LÉZARDRIEUX (22) - ROUEN (76)

I’ve been creative since childhood; I grew up surrounded by art, as my father was an amateur artist himself. From a very early age, the smell of oil paint and the joy of drawing shaped my imagination. My mother enrolled me in drawing classes when I was 6 years old, and that allowed me to hone and develop my creativity.

In the 1980s, I trained in academic drawing with the goal of becoming an illustrator. This path then led me to photography, before I founded a graphic design studio in the early 1990s, which I ran for more than twenty-five years.

Today, having put an end to that activity, I am returning fully to painting—the medium I started with and a place where I have rediscovered my freedom.

My work explores an imaginary, naive, and vibrant world full of vivid colors, drawing inspiration from the world of comic books as well as Impressionism.

I identify with the legacy of Figuration Libre, and my work is strongly influenced by artists such as Francky Boy, Rémi Blanchard, Hervé Di Rosa, Robert Combas, Speedy Graphito, and François Boisrond. I work primarily with acrylic paint.

I currently live and work in Lézardrieux, in Brittany (Côtes-d’Armor).
